Live life in "balance"

1. - God created everything to function in balance.....

- What happens when things around us start to function out of balance ?

- Why is balance important...... ?

- Jesus showed us balance....

- God wants us to Live in balance.

Matt. 6:33.......

2. What are we a thermometer or thermostat.... ?

- God wants us to be like thermostat...

- Thermostat keeps the temperature at one spot....

- Do not be up and down......

- God wants us to bring this balance in to everywhere we go......

3. 2 Cor. 12:7-10

(thorn from greek: skolops which is pointed piece of wood....)

- Sometime God allows this things in our life to keep us balanced and not get carried away.....

- Look and your life and see what brings balance...

- See what you need to add balance in to your life.

4. God wants us to be balanced..... but we must train ourselves.....

- Just like walking on the rope we need practice same in our lives...

- Make Jesus your coach.

- We only see results but coach sees all the practice and hard work thats put in to it......

5. God gave us His peace John 14:27

- Live with God.....

Are we really that busy ?

Are we really that busy ?

In talking to people, I realized that many complained that they don't have enough time to do things. Some say that they have so much to do, some find other excuses, and some are just lazy. But most of the people I've met always tell me how busy they are. Okay - but with what ?

So are we really that busy? Or maybe we do things that we are not supposed to be doing. Yes, there's such a thing in this world as doing good things, but not right things. So I want to talk about prioritizing your life, because what you do today has an effect on your tomorrow.

Ok firstly, we all have an equal amount of time. Everyone gets the same 24 hours a day. Rich, poor, famous, or just regular people - everyone gets the same amount of time. But not everyone spends it the same way.

How do you spend your time? The way you spend your time will determine what you are going to have in your future.

So let me give you few steps on how to spend your time wisely and not waste it on unnecessary things.

1. Prioritize.

What is the most important in your life?

For me personally I try to follow this order.

1. God and His will.

2. My personal development.

3. Family.

4. Work/Ministry

5. Friends

2. Get rid of the things that steal your time: Long phone conversations, Internet, Going shopping just to go, Friends that just waste your time, TV, Sleep (more that 7-8 hours) and many more, but you get the point.

3. Learn how to say no to people.

4. Follow your plan and do only what's important throughout the day. Do the most important things first.

If you do not know where is your time going, just make a journal of everything you do every day. Write down every hour and then at the end of the week see where you spent your time.

Remember, you have 24 hours everyday, and that should be enough to sleep, eat, spend time with the family, work, time for God, and friends. If you do not have enough time, maybe you're doing things that are not important and just taking your time away from your life.

Be careful what you spend your time on, because this determines where you are going to be in your future.

So are we really that busy or do we just not know how to manage our day and our life.?

TRUTH.

Word Is truth.

- Truth about what ? Truth is Absolute.

- You cant change truth....

- It always stays the same no matter what and who tries to do something....

- When you walk in truth you walk in perfection.....

- We can all walk in truth......

- Truth is everything....

- Jesus is the TRUTH and the WAY..... so when you follow... FOLLOW...

- YOU WILL LIVE...... BUT MUST FOLLOW THE TRUTH ....

1. Psalm 89:14-15. 14. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face. 15. Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance.

2. Psalm 91:4. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

- When we walk in truth and speak the truth it becomes our refuge.....

- Truth protects us..... NOONE can stand against us.

3. Matt. 22:16. And they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God in truth; nor do You care about anyone, for You do not regard the person of men.

- Jesus only had one opinion.

- Jesus Spoke only TRUTH.

- No other opinion matter to HIM.

- The only way JESUS AGREES with us if we speak the TRUTH.......

We can only agree with the truth......

4. John 3:21. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

- Truth is action..... WORDS, DEEDS......

- Truth has to be seen..... CLEARLY SEEN....

- If you are not speaking the truth you are lying ......

- Truth works and has to be backed up ......

5. John 14:6. Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

a. The only way to God .

b. John 8:31 ....

- It makes us free.....

6. John 17:16-19.

- Truth SANCTIFIES YOU......

7. This what God wants..... for everyone to know truth .... BUT HOW ?

Through our life.....

1 Tim. 2:3-4 3. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4. who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Our Prayer: Psalm 25:4-5...... 4. Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. 5. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.

No food for 71 days and still alive.......

Hello, I want to share with everyone about my 71 day fast that I just finished this Monday.

I write this not to boast, but to encourage someone. I never thought I would be able to do it myself, but thank God I did it. God is awesome.

This is how it all started - I'm a pastor of a small church that we started 3 years ago, and I saw a need in our church so I decided to stand up for it. The need was that we as a church needed to get closer to God, but it always starts from the leadership. If the leadership is not walking close with God, it will have an effect on the whole church. So I decided to start getting closer to God. (I had been doing it, but I realized that we needed more)

So that's how I decided to take a 40 day fast. (no food at all just drinks.)

Was it hard? In the beginning it was a bit hard at some moments. Some days were easy, but the main key to staying strong during a fast is PRAYER, the WORD of GOD, and of course your mindset. Some days I had lots of pressure, after 25 days I couldn't feel my body, and after 30 days I started to feel great. I felt clean and I had energy throughout the day, though at night I did get tired faster. But I was surprised with how much energy I had.

During this fast I realized How much more I need God. I realized that food became an idol to us in America. We love food more than we love God, and that's why we cant fast and spend time with God.

After some time into fasting, all I wanted was more of God. My focus became only on Him and not on myself and not on church. I need Him, but the only way i can get Him is if I truly start loving Him with everything.

On day 29 We had a church prayer and I asked God if I should do more than 40 days. I asked God if I should go 71 days, and God said yes if I wanted to receive more.

Fasting is not a matter of salvation, its a matter of you walking in the power of God by denying your flesh and allowing the Spirit to take over your daily life.

God told us to fast in the Bible. God also showed us many examples of others that did it and why they did it. (I will get more into that in my next blog.)

What did I get out of this fast?

I got wayyyyy more than I asked for :)

1. I got closer to God.

2. More self Control over my flesh.

3. I feel more authority over my life and that authority only comes from God.

4. People in the church started to seek God more and took time to fast. Some did between 5 to 21 days.

5. I noticed how my own parents started to treat me more like a pastor and not like their child.

6. We closed on our house after 40 days (and I knew before that we would because God told me so )

7. And one of the most important points is that I started to hear God more clearly and started to be led by His Holy Spirit more and more - during preaching, talking or when it comes to personal decisions.

This was truly the best experience I've had in my life. I loved every moment of it, even though some days were reallllly hard. But the end result was great. I made a decision to eat more healthy and to be a great example in every area of my life.

I thank God for everything. It's all because of HIM, because GOD IS REAL.

Power of the Word of God.....

Word.

Power Of the Word......

- God created everything by speaking His word.... We can create or destroy with our word.... what do we speak ?

- God created the World by speaking.

Gen.1:3.....

1. Gods Word has power.

- Hebrews 4:12-13.

- Prov. 30:5.

- Psalm 18:30.

2. Jesus spoke the word, and He spoke with Power.

- Luke 4:36.

- 1 John 2:5.

- 2 Peter 3:5-7

3. We need word today to Understand God and to live in His power....

- Rom. 10:17. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

- Hebrews 11:3

- GOD gave us His word and when we speak it it has power, He told us to lose and to bind......

- Word has power. Speak it.

- What is the Word of God ? Word is everything .....

- Why do we need the Word of God ? We need God, We need to understand the way God works...... we Have to live and walk by His word....

- Its possible to see and not to believe, but its also possible not to see and to believe.......

Matt. 7:24.... we must hear and do....

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

1 Cor. 13:6. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

- Love must be based on truth......

- Love is not what the society say love is 1 John 2:5...

- 2 John 6

- Love is truth, He is love He is the truth..... Love is to keep his commandments.

- Nowhere in the Bible it says that love is nice.....

- Love is truth.....

- The only way we can walk in Gods love is if we obey HIm...

- Gods Love can not be practiced by being nice.... It has to be done together with God, we must spend time with God to be like God.

Why LOVE does not delight in evil ???

1. LIE: If we Lie than we sin....

- Love does not lie, love does not delight in the lie or evil.....

Eph. 4:17-25.

Fear causes us to lie...

1 Jh. 2:20-21.

- No lie comes from the truth, so if we lie we do not speak the truth.... we go against GOD.

Col. 3:5-14...

- Why we fall Rom. 1:24-25.

-When we lie we worship satan he is the father of lie. John 8:44

2. Does not delight in evil: We should never enjoy anything that goes against God,

- We must hate what goes against God.

- To fear God is to hate evil. Prov. 8:13.

- Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

- If we love we will never support evil, lie, rubbish talk, immoral movies, TV shows, music, jokes.

- If we love we will stand for the truth and rejoice in the truth...

- If we understand how to live in love, we will understand God, and show God to this world.....

Love It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not angered, it keeps no record of wrong.

- 1 Cor. 13:5

- If you want to be loved JUST LOVE OTHERS FIRST.....

- LOVE GOD and you will LOVE LIKE GOD.....

- The reason we don't love God or people because we don't know God.

- We love to point fingers and say but they this and that..... Its not about them its about us loving people FIRST......

- Jesus considered Himself nothing so we can become something.....

- Gods love is directed towards people, our love should be towards people.

1. Love it is not rude:

- We have to make sure that we don't act Rude in any situation, we have to be polite and respectful to everyone no matter what they do to us....

2. Not self seeking when we do something to people we not looking to get something out of it, but we do it because we LOVE.

- Never Seek your own, just for me me me me me me ........

- People always say what about ME.... Jesus said its all about YOU....

Gal. 5:20.... selfish desire,

- We are naturally selfish some less some more but its in us to be selfish..

- Jesus came and restored what we lost which is in Gal. 5:22-23....

- Me and you we where supposed to be LOVE.

3. Love it is not angered....

- When we love we have to stay cool....

- In our anger we can make lots of mistakes that will effect us and our future...... Matt. 5:22....

- Eph. 4:26-27.

- When Jesus got angry Matt. 21:12... He did it with Love... He healed right after......

- some people might say God is angry with people and this is why ..... Rom. 1:18-20.

- So there's 2 different types of anger but when we get angry its usually because of our selfish desires......

4. It keeps no record of wrong.

- Love forgives....... and thats what Jesus did on the cross.

- We must forgive in order for us to to be forgiven....

Heb. 10:16-18. God forgave us and remembers it no more......

- We must forgive Matt. 6:14-15.

- If we want to grow in life we must forgive...... We must Love......

Come to God and you will love like God.

Love. part 2. Kind, Does not ENVY.

God is love and He shared it with us.

Love is KIND

- Prov. 12:25.

- By our kindness we can change people and our self....

- Prov. 14:31.

- Who is needy ? Everyone is... we must show kindness to please God.... Because God is kind and He wants us to reflect it to people.

- God is Kind to us....: Kind- having or showing a friendly, generous, and considerate nature

- Kindness not only when we fake smile but also when we behind their backs..... God sees our hearts....

1 Co. 13:4-5. Love - It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

Envy - jealousy, covetousness; resentment, bitterness, discontent

- Envy is natural in us.... because of sin. Gal. 5:19-21.

- Cain killed Abel because of envy

- One of the 10 commandments is not to ENVY.... Ex. 20:17

- Prov. 14:30

Self explanatory..

- Mark 7:14:23....

Jesus said that ENVY is one of the things that make us unclean.... What is unclean ? Its how we live, how we present ourself to others, thats what destroys us, being unclean will eventually destroy you...

- Titus 3:3-8.

We must do good and take care of others....

- Instead of being jealous we must bless others .....

- Jealousy can destroy a lot of thing in your life, you can ruin many relationships, you can miss good opportunities just because we got jealous at some one at one point or another.......

- Ask God to help you to stop it, do everything to work on yourself not to be jealous......
